Harmonium is One Year Old
Though you may see some posts on the front page under July and September of 2005, that was all just work behind the scenes to make sure the format and content were up to snuff for our impending launch.
In reality, Harmonium was not officially open for business (and pleasure) until Monday, October 3rd, and since then we have gathered an incredible amount of steam, establishing relationships with dozens of artists and labels and gathering a faithful readership that continues to grow every week. We would very literally not be here without you, and to thank everyone for reading, we’d like to celebrate with a little trivia:
- What was our first major feature, the one that put us on the blogosphere map?
- What review has generated our largest number of comments?
- What was our first one-star review?
Answer any one of these questions and you will win a CD. It’s that simple. We have releases by Metric, J Dilla, The Big Sleep, Sparta, and many more, and while supplies last, we’ll send a CD to everyone who answers one of these Harmonium trivia questions correctly.

Hooray for us!
